My first commission by a friend that I actually finished. XD He also commissioned another project--a pair of socks… But I couldn’t pick a pattern and commit to one. I got bored and it’ll eventually be unraveled.

There are 19 stripes total; 10 maroon/ burgundy and 9 gold. The fringes are approximately 4 inches long after trimming. Each stripe is made of up 20 rows and I think I casted on about 60 stitches in the beginning as well.

Although the colors match Gryffindor house colors well, the yarns varied a bit in thickness. They’re both worsted weight but the gold yarn is much thinner so the stripes weren’t quite even. Blocking helped but the scarf still has some uneven edges.
