Pattern was well written and easy to follow.

Only modification I made was on the trim around the piece. For each trim, instead of binding off and sewing to the wrong side of the piece, I picked up stitches from the 1st row of the trim (garter) and knit each of those with the corresponding live stitch and then bound off as I went.

Piece was blocked, but I ran out of patience while it was drying, so I put it in the dryer on air dry… the jacket felted slightly, but enough so the armholes are not big enough and the cables have lost quite a bit of their definition :-( I’m in the denial stage right now of the grief process and imagine that the anger will come next along with the tears. This piece will now go to my friend’s daughter who is in college - let’s hope she doesn’t put it in the washer!
