My niece is starting to expect and love my handmade dolls for her birthday. It was the only present that got a smile out of her and she carried it with her the rest of the evening. :)

I had a few issues with this pattern. First, there was no instruction on how to put on the hair and how the look of the hair in the pattern was achieved. I struggled for 2 days with it before giving up. There was also no instruction on how to do the embroidery on the wings. I think if you have a pattern with this much embroidery, there should be some guidance on how it is done. The instructions on crocheting the butterfly wings also could have been clearer. I had a hard time determining how the pieces were supposed to fit together because of unclear instructions or guidance photos.

Over all, it’s a great pattern and I’m happy I made it but I think the pattern could be made clearer to prevent frustration.
