Her hair is my favourite part. I was going to do strands on her scalp towards the coiled pigtails, but found it looked quite messy. The crochet ‘wig’ is much neater and should wear well too - I just followed the head pattern up until the final increase round then stitched it on.

I used this tutorial for jogless stripes in the round and weighted her feet with plastic pellets that I sewed into little pockets of fabric.

The bendi cotton takes dye so well, is extremely soft and washes beautifully - it’s a really good choice for kids toys.
