This is size M on 4mm needles, ended up measuring the same as the size S. Due to my longish torso I followed the pattern for size L in length.

I was really on and off on this project - odd because it was a clear pattern and when I actually worked on it, it was really quick! Used such a tiny amount of yarn, I only dipped into the 5th ball for the button band.
