Started with 76 stitches and about 2 inches of 2x2 ribbing. On the first round of stockinette I decreased 2 stitches. After an inch I decreased 2 more stitches to get down to 72 stitches. (I wanted to make these a little looser at the top than the socks that I typically make for Robt.
Used the outside of the ball of yarn when I made the. heel flap and turned the heel. Picked up and knit stitches for the gusset on one side. Then returned to the main yarn and picked up and knit stitches on the other side, knit across the heel, and then up the other gusset. Cut the yarn from the outside of the ball and continued on with the main yarn.
One the heel turn I went 3 stitches past the center before decrease, work 1 more stitch and then turn and slip. Then go again 3 stitches past the center before the decrease, work 1 more stitch then turn.

Finished. Now need to wash and make them look their best before wrapping them up and giving them away. I really liked working with this yarn and would definitely use it again. I have a mini skein kit from Weird Sisters Wool Emporium and I might use it to make socks, too. I have a decent sized ball of this yarn left even though the socks weigh in at 100 g. I could make some cute baby socks.
