Miniature punch needle rug from a kit given to me by Tori (wideanglemind). From this kit I learned to do the details first, then the outlines, then fill in the insides, then do any background.

I used the smallest punch needle and the crewel thread held single. I like the color blending of holding yarn double, but this is so small I don’t think that would have worked.

With these needles I can use regular muslin fabric and laceweight or lighter yarn.
