Pattern calls for 20 st per 4 inches and I got 22 with DK weight yarn (5.5 st per inch). Cast on 206 (using medium instructions even though I would normally have chosen Small) so with my gauge the hip measurement will be 206/5.5 = 37.5 inches. Also, my bust measurement with my gauge got me closer to the stitch counts for the bust of the size medium.

Many projects complained that the pattern was too big so I hope that I’m not making a mistake here. I do find the gauge of 5 st per inch an odd one for a DK weight yarn. I couldn’t get close to that gauge with this yarn unless it was incredibly loosely knit.

Almost finished! I still have to weave in ends but I’ve done the neck and armhole edging with single crochet, and the fit seems good.

I used just under 6 skeins.
