Got the bug to challenge myself before NoCKRs 2019 to knit with destash from a previous retreat. This yarn was from last year. An entire bag of four skeins so of course I was drawn to it!
I’m knitting hats and plan to use it all up before April 11, 2019.
Hat 1 was 92 stitches 2x2 rib and then decreased to 84 stitches when the ribbing was done and I started stockinette. When I started decreases I did K5 K2tog all around then 6 rows, K4 K2tog, then 5 rows, etc. and then pulled the yarn through all the stitches once I had done K2tog all the way around.

Hat 2 is 90 stitches and 3x1 rib until the decreases. Decreased 3 stockinette down to 2 on four of the ribs, then on four more, then on the rest. Worked 2x2 for a few rows, then made it into 1x1 rib within two rows. Then did the final decreases. The hat fits me, but could be a little longer before the decreases start.
