Notes

Tis the season! What can I say … he’s a fish biologist, and loves to fish in his spare time. Couldn’t resist this pattern …

This is such an easy pattern, and it knits up sooooo fast. Color work with worsted weight yarn makes such a super thick, warm hat. Absolutely perfect for our damp, cold climate! Almost finished this in one day!

Must make one for the son too … he’s a pro fisherman …

Great gifts!!!!!

PATTERN NOTES: For all stranded color work, held the CC colors to be dominant. With these yarns, the hat fits fine without the need of the fleece liner mentioned in the pattern instructions. It worked up to make a very thick, warm hat without the added lining (well, perhaps not warm enough for Prudhoe Bay, but warm enough for our mountains … :-D ).
