Second post - casting on
Third post - sleeves
Fourth post - starting the yoke
Fifth post - cutting the steek
Final post - finishing
10/13/13 - DONE!
10/12/13 - Everything’s done, but I still need to find the perfect buttons.
10/8/13 - Binding off sleeves and going button shopping today! :)
9/29/13 - Finishing up my right side steek sandwich and then ready to bind everything off! I can’t believe I will actually have this done before the weather gets cold!
9/18/13 - Yoke done! if all goes well, will be binding off neck tonight.
9/14/13 - Both sleeves done and up to 14” of length on the body now. Joining very soon.
7/20/13 - One sleeve halfway done now, just up over my elbow. I do not yet know if I will immediately do the other sleeve after this one, or if I will go back to adding more length to the body. Trembling with excitement at how wild and carefree I am. What next? Out of sequence bind offs? Mercy!
7/5/13 - Pocket business done and back to adding length now. Up to 7 1/2” now and thinking about taking a break from the body to start a sleeve.
7/2/13 - Cast on! First time doing a provisional cast on with a crochet hook and I am IN LOVE. Joined with no twist and off to a fine start. ;)
6/30/13 - Just swatching so far, and planning on only using two colors, simply because I have a beautiful hand-dyed, handspun yarn from a friend that I’d love to showcase.
I am very new to colorwork and hoping I can keep my tension even, and I’ve never steeked before, so I’ll need some hand-holding at that part I’m sure.
