I love the yarn, and I am satisfied with the finished project, but I can’t say I love the pattern. I want to say it’s fabulous and I’ll make it again and again--but instead I think it’s outdated, boxy--it lacks the style and swing of the Vogue Baby Classic Cardigan. It doesn’t have the nice fit in the shoulders of the Placket Neck sweater.

Will I give it as a gift? Sure, I’ll find a friend who appreciates organic cotton and give it to her. The buttons are perfect and I like the color combination, but the nicest thing about this sweater is this yarn and for that … I could saved myself hours of unending garter stitch and knit something else instead.

I’d buy the yarn again in a heartbeat and I don’t REGRET knitting the BSJ. I’m glad I did it. I will probably even knit the pattern again. But maybe not right away.
