A friend challenged me to weave him a guitar strap based on the vibrant pattern of the San Francisco Garter Snake.
The proportions of the colors weren’t exactly as I wanted them, but the strap is beautiful and my friend is happy.
I used different weights of yarn and it led to a more 3-D pebbly texture. All the better!
