Notes

I struggle to finish sweaters but I really like this design, the needle size is encouraging and a KAL may keep me motivated.

Daylights held double for gauge.

So happy with the FO. Opted to make a vest to get more wear out of it - didn’t do anything other than start the ribbing where the sleeve was supposed to start.

The Daylights held double is a great substitute (especially if it comes from the sale bin at Harrisville!) - gauge was spot on for stiches and rows.

The photos in the pattern, while out of order are very helpful when working the front - i was confused when the front came out longer than the back, but that’s what it’s supposed to do and it gives a nice detail at the shoulder seam.

The fabric was very stiff off the needles but a soak made all the difference. And the yarn still smells so wonderful.

May try a full sweater with Quarry. This is a great pattern for someone who wants to dip their toes into sweater knitting. I have a hard time finishing sweaters but this was fun and easy.
