A stocking cap has been on my knit list for a while. The best advent project ever.

Decided on five colors, to keep it harmonious.

Tha natural yarn is Harrisville and I had plenty of it so used that, the gray and dark orange as background colors. Started running low on the background colors except the white nearing the end so made colorwork changes to accommodate.

The hat was more than long enough and I was ready to be done so started skipping section and decreased in consecutive rounds. I do not like fair isle knitting on small circumferences.

Things got a bit messy near the end but a nice soak did wonders.

Love this stocking cap and a most enjoyable advent project.

Will add a tassle.
