I am Using the heel and measurements from the pattern. The sock is a vanilla with the Fish Lips Kiss heel and the toe from Seaweed Socks. I started at the same spot but altered the pink and brown stripe.

I am using a 9 inch circ. US 1. 10 stitches per inch. I have been working on getting the sizing right for my feet and so far, this pair fits amazingly well! I cast on 40 using Seaweed Socks method and work increases to 76. Then after last toe row/increase knit 35ish rows, decrease to 72 and knit foot to 2 rows before the heel and immediately (over 2 rows) increase to 84. Using the Fish Lips Kiss heel method, complete the heel. After about 4 rows past the heel, decrease to 80. Knit 1x1 rib to desired length (about 4 inches from beginning rib). I use Elizabeth Zimmerman’s sewn bind-off and it is wonderfully stretchy without belling outward.
