My sister in law lost a man who was a father to her. I chose this pattern and yarn to knit her a prayer shawl. She loves the serenity of the ocean waves washing ashore. Both the pattern and the yarn seem to beautifully represent that. My prayers for her have been asking God to wrap her in that serenity and give her peace and wonderful memories to cherish always.
