I love this pattern! I’ve used it in sampler afghans, and awhile back started making an entire afghan with pink butterfly squares, but after making six squares couldn’t find any more pink yarn that matched this pink from my stash. I recently fished the piece out of my UFO trunk and, using more stash scraps, added a border and some hearts for this little baby coverlet to donate to Project Linus. Because of its laciness, it’s not the perfectly practical baby blanket, but heck, maybe some mom will enjoy using it for her little one.
BTW, the border is one I frequently use, from Kim Guzman’s website. The flowers are from a Crochet Today pattern for an orchid and lilac blankie.
