After admiring, on etsy.com, an all-pink baby afghan made up of rose squares and finding no pattern, I improvised this one. Around the time I was thinking about the idea, I stumbled on a couple of bargain skeins (about half price) of this bubble gum pink yarn I thought some little Project Linus girl might like. I used close to a pound and a half, and the rest can be applied to a new Hello Kitty afghan. And this is the result of my improvisation.

P.S. There are a couple of loose ends sticking out that show in the photo. The mindless job of weaving in the ends will be done at the next meeting of my Sit ‘n Stitch group, where I can listen to the chatter without making mistakes on more complex crocheting.
