• sleeves: co 68 sts double sided and knit ca. 5 cm

• body: co 200 sts double sided (waist); PM in the middle; repeat 6 times ** k 8 rnds, increase 4 sts (2 around both BOR and SM) ** ; k 8 rnds = 224 sts

• joining sleeves to the body:

1. 2 * 16 sts for arm pits (3-needle bind off)
2. distribute the remaining 192 sts: 100 for the front, 92 for the back
3. totally 296 sts (192 + 2 * 52)

Place the BOR in the middle of the back.

start the pattern (4 mm needle); knit the first 9 pattern rows to the first one-color row; decrease evenly 8 sts (288 sts, allowing 9 full 32 sts repeats of the main pattern, centered in the front);

added a few rows to the main pattern to compensate the tighter row gauge (24 rnds/10 cm)

final sts count 108

8 short rows (starting from 36, + 3 sts each row) on back before the the ribbing (3,25 mm needle)

9 rnds 2 * 2 ribbing (3,25 mm needle)
