Knitting these inside-out, tensioning the yarn around my neck. Keeps the floats from pulling too tight, and easier to manage the colorwork that way.

Using WW, a bit bigger than gauge, but that’s OK. I’m expecting them to bit a bit big, and to felt a little on the soles. They’re house-socks, not shoe-socks.
