Basing sett and yarn choice off of the Blooming Leaf Baby Blanket. Published sett is 13.5 or 13, I’m doubling my sett because this is being woven as doubleweave (double-width) which gives me a choice of 26 or 27. I only have a 12 dent reed, so I’m going with 27.

One repeat of the draft is 51 ends, 5 repeats gives me a good width for a baby blanket, so that gives me 510 ends, at about 82” (a bit over 2y).

2/1 Re-sett @ 14epi, re-worked the draft a couple of times and ended up with a slightly narrower blanket. Still messed up the draft, as the left half is a mirror image of the right, but it’s not nearly as noticeable as the first version of “the right and left half don’t match” so I’m leaving it as is. Still need to fix a few spots where I clearly pressed pattern treadles instead of tabby, and then wet-finishing.

Fringe is simple overhand knots, will eventually be trimmed to 1.5-2”
