I didn’t use the recommended yarn so my gauge wasn’t quite what the pattern said. Consequently, I had to recalculate for most of the measurements to have something that would fit. Simple math - not a problem.

Very pleased with the final outcome. A very comfortable sweater that moves with me and doesn’t bind under the arms, despite having a negative ease.

This item is knit in pieces and seamed at the end. I spent a great deal of time on the finishing of this item and I’m glad I did because it would be very obvious if the pattern didn’t line up because of a sewing error. This could easily be converted to something in the round to avoid this, however because this is quite a ‘drape-y’ fabric, I chose to keep the seams to help provide structure to the garment.
