I wanted a more challenging knitting project after doing some Harry Potter scarves and, well, I got it. When I bought the yarn for this, all I could think was “I’ve lost my ever loving mind, what am I doing to myself? First lace project, let’s make an 80 inch scarf!” But I’m actually surprised by how fast I’ve made this. And a little terrified. Course, my vacation got cancelled for the summer, so instead of Wizarding World of Harry Potter, I knit this for a week. That’ll get you pretty far, haha!

Clearly I modified the pattern a little bit to make it a scarf instead of a shawl, but it’s more or less the same (other than skipping the boarder design). I’m going for 28 repeats which should make it long enough. I’m in the middle of the 27th repeat (11/14/11). And then I get to figure out how in the hell to block this.

11/26 - Finished knitting this on Thanksgiving (11/24) and wove in the ends yesterday and then blocked it today. As soon as it dries, I will have a finished Pond scarf! Yay!!
