Notes

All done but I can’t decide if I want tassels or a crochet edge. I love the way the self striping yarn worked.
Making a baby blanket to use up some of my stash. All done in three days. I used 2 strands of the bernat and 1 strand of the pingouin. I made the starting strip about 4-foot long, and just Zig-zaged until I ran out of yarn,13 strips in all.
I would have liked it a little bigger but it’s very soft and huggable. I think I’ll donate it to the local children’s cancer care. It would make a real good security blanket.
Made a discovery! A small stitch holder is a must for a bigger project, as you need to put the 4sts on a holder if you plan on putting you project down. (you’re kind of attached to it)
I made another discovery! when turning for the 3rd time you need to make allowance for the turn. I’ve tried to explain this in a post script in the pattern PDF as of Sept.18 2012.
