One of the best fitting socks I’ve knit. Love the method and the heel fits me just fine. I did make the leg a bit wide (body issues? me? surely not). Will probably make the second to match, but on future versions (and there will be more) I’ll use less sts for the leg.

Love the yarn, too. Perfect match for this pattern. It is a bit splitty, but not a huge deal with a plain sock. Seems like it will wear well and be a great vanilla sock workhorse yarn. Have two more balls and am already planning another buy.

5/17/10 Still love the socks, but the leg is much too wide which makes it fall down in my shoes. Bummer!
