Made this for a customer who wants to give this as a gift to a soon to be mom. I added some more ties and made a shoulder belt in the same way the belt is made and with a little bag for a baby bottle or toys.

The trick to get a straight seam by skipping the first stitch and making 2 stitches in the last stitch each road, didn’t work for me. It made my seam even more wandering. So you should just figure out what’s the best method to get a straight seam by yourself. There are plenty of tips online and on youtube, you could test and see what helps you, because we all crochet a bit different.
