I used the AmiguruME doll as a base and altered the following:
Pants were cropped and widened at the end to match the costume:
The Boot Cut pants in the AmiguruMe book was used. Row 1-19 in the pant color (with widening at the bottom), row 20-28 in skin color, then continue on to the boot.
2 tabards were made:
Ch 60 turn, double c FLO 59 turn, double c BLO 59 finish off.
2 belts were made:
ch 24 turn, sc 23 finish off.
Wristcuff:
ch 9 turn, sc 8 sl st to finish. (leave a length to wrap around and stitch together over the wrist. This will give it a ‘tied on’ look.)
Skirt:
Follow the skirt pattern int he AmiguruMe book but only work to row 8 or 9 for best fit. Should look like a tunic shirt and rest just below the crotch. Attach at the narrowest part of the waist. The belt and tabards will disguise the place where it is sewn.
Arms:
Skin color in rows 1-7 in skin color, row 8-17 in arm wrap color, row 18-20 in skin color. I also took the arm wrap color and wrapped it around the finished arms to give a tied on look.
For the hair I filled it all in first by stitching over a wig cap. Then used some of the tied ends sticking out to give some loose hairs in the front framing the face. The bun was made separately and attached after.
