Notes

Started this testknit on a vacation to Berlin and bought more yarn there. Because of that and also because of the painting bricks motif this sweater will always be my Berlin Sweater. Back home in Stuttgart I found that it would have been cool if I had finished it there to take pictures in front of the Berlin Wall, so I googled if there is a part of it in Stuttgart as well and there is one! And even a super pretty one with the skyline of Berlin on it! I love this city so much so we took the pics of my finished sweater there! black_heart

Yarn used:
MC: 306,85 g
CC: 138,35 g

MC1: (yoke) Mondschaf Baby Alpaka dk 145g = 290m
MC2: Walk Collection Silky BFL DK 56,35g = 120m
MC3: Unknown/gift from Stephen DK 20,95g ~ 42m
MC4: Twisted DK by Ines 84,55g = 170m

CC1: westwool tandem in cornflower 13,8g = 32m
CC2: Frida Fuchs dk in Vanilleschote 26,3 g = 65,75m
CC3: Mondschaf DK 33,05g = 72,71m
CC4: Frida Fuchs DK in Nordsee 22,05g = 55,7m
CC5: HHF DK in artifact 20,1g = 34,96m
CC6: Skein Queen Crush dk 12,4g = 27,9m
CC7: Frida Fuchs dk in Anis 10,65g = 26,63m

Finished measurements (after blocking):
Body: 48cm / back , 41cm / front
Bust: 94cm
Cuff: 12,5 cm (13cm circumference)
Sleeve length from underarm: 48cm
Fits perfectly on a 84cm bust

The body has quite a bit of positive ease so I didn’t want the sleeves to be to tight. So instead of decreasing every 4th row I only decreased evenly every 8th row (on the first knit row of the MC) until I was ready to work the cuff.
Decreased only to 48sts instead of 40, otherwise the ribbing would have been to tight for me.

To mirror the short rows at the neck I also knitted short rows at the bottom to elongate the back. And of course I made it cropped relaxed I love it a lot!

For the short rows at the bottom I first knit to the last 12 sts. Then turned always by knitting to the last 6 sts before the last turn until I reached the side.
