Jan 13: This is my New Years project. I’m not to start anything until it is done! I’m also limiting myself to yarns from my stash so it will either be small or multicolored.

Jan 18: well, I don’t love the second yarn, it is just too variegated for a shawl & ends up looking too messy. I think I have just enough of the Shepherd classic yarn to work it back in and finish off in pink.

The pattern itself is fantastically easy which is just what I was looking for. Something I can knit away on without having to consult the pattern too much.

Because I was limiting myself to yarn from my stash this shawl came out a little smaller than I would have liked but it will still get some good use as it is thick and warm to wrap around my neck under a coat.
