I love how this turned out. I really wanted something I could wear all the time. I think this is perfect. Jared Flood is a genius.

The pattern is so well written and easy to follow. It knits up quite quickly. I did however find it helpful to listen to a good audio book to keep me motivated through the knitted on edging.

This was my first time using Isager Aplaca 2. I love love love love love love how it turned out. I wanted a yarn that would block nicely and would wear nicely over time. I think this was the perfect fit. I love the delicateness of the lace in this pattern, but I love the feel and texture of the mixture of alpaca and merino of the yarn. It gives it a more rustic natural feel (which is what I usually strive for in my styling). It is natural fiber at it’s finest! I love that the yarn isn’t too dainty. Since I wanted an everyday scarf I wanted it to be soft and comfortable but still give me the look of natural fiber. This yarn and pattern were such a great mix.
