04-29-2020 Off the loom and fulled

So, obviously I must have wound the warp too tightly on the warping board when I measured it, because my 21’ of warp only turned out to be about 10’ of woven fabric after washing and drying (not including fringe). Ah, well. The fabric is lovely at least.

19.75” wide by 132” length

After fulling
18” wide by 110” length

Thinking about making another horizontal panel to add length to both the fronts and back. Thicker stripes, emphasizing rust color…

3 yds long to make 1 36” panel (with seams) for back and 2 18” panels (with seams) for front

@700 yds for warp
@510 yds for weft

Decided to scrap the panels for length, but still wanting to use more of this yarn--need a cowl/scarf to attach to back of neck and maybe pockets? Thinking of using similar pattern as above, modified accordingly:

Warp length is 110 inches (3.0 yards)

Length to weave each article is:
96 inches (under tension)
88 inches (relaxed)

Width in reed is: 12.1 inches

Total Warp Required: 363.0 yards
