Notes

I have one slipper started. Taking lessons at Michaels and the instructor knitted one slipper - she used 5mm needles and the cuff was very long. I have been looking at other people’s FO and some of the have the same longer cuff. I thought that Drops did not knit the 5 rows of ribbing but upon a closer look at the picture I think they did. Not sure why some projects have that longer cuff. I like the look of slipper as done by Drops. I have been putting off trying to continue on this project - I realized too late that I forgot to do some decreases and have to try and go back. Might have to rip it all out and start over!!

Update: April 6th - ripped everything out and managed to get the majority of the slipper done. Just had to finish the toe. Have the one slipper done now but I did not end up with 10 stitches at the end. I went over the pattern about 4 times doing a stitch count and just could not figure it out. Ended up with 13 stitches and I decided to do a cast off instead of just pulling the last stitches together. After trying on the slipper a couple of times the cuff seemed to be a bit stretchy so I sewed some elastic thread into it. Firmed up the cuff a bit but still stretchy enough to get it on comfortably. Turned out better then I had hoped it would. Now for the next one!
