The choice of yarn for this project was inspired by http://www.ravelry.com/people/Flowermouse. I came across one of her projects a little while ago and spent a better part of the following weekend looking through Lone’s blog and her projects.

Mods:
Straight edge: knit first stitch on RS, purl last stitch on WS
Inc/dec edge: slip first stich on WS.

The above method resulted in both edges having a very similar clean finish.

I really thought that I came up with the design for this project myself. However as I was creating this project page I realized that I must have looked at the Baktus instructions in the past - so I give credit to where the credit is due.

I’m also experimenting with finishing the ends - I’m thinking bright beads.

Scarf needs proper blocking, more pictures coming soon.
