Notes

I had a great idea for socks! But somehow used up this yarn for a shawl… This crescent-shaped shawl actually took just a couple of days to make.

The crescent shaped shawl is available in S, M and L sizes; or can be customised to your liking according to the Customisation Notes.

The shawl starts with just few stitches as it is worked from the neck down. Stranded and lace knitting techniques are combined in the pattern. It features colorwork where only 2 colors are used on any of the rows and some of the stitches are accented using slipped stitches.

S size uses just one skein of sock yarn for the main color. For contrasting colors you can use leftovers from other projects or mini skeins. Use yarn with hight wool content for this shawl: wool will give you the right amount of ‘grip’ for colorwork, while still stretching enough to show off the lace pattern.
