Notes

A project for a Fair Isle class. Finished item given to my nephew in Scotland.

Provisional cast on methods
Am practising provisional cast on using spare cable instead of waste yarn so you end up with live stitches for joining brim. Couple of versions

Brim joining - 3 needle join
Maybe folded brim is going to be done this way using the cast on waste yarn row and cable row, or in my case two cables of stitches. Did casing for my skirt waist this way, I think! https://youtu.be/CbHVF5ve3u0
