My sister has been having some mysterious medical issues and has been having major vision problems. One thing is for sure: she’ll have to wear an eyepatch over the bad eye to avoid massive migraines and pressure from her brain trying to reconcile the differences.
Thus, I thought it’d be fun, and to make lemonade out of lemons, if I’d knit her up a couple of eyepatches. Yarn used is just stash fingering weight yarn. The veining in the eye adds a bit of realism, but it’s more of a pain to add than I thought. I think it’s worth it though.
This one is actually a big too large. I got carried away, what can I say? I think I’ll be performing “eye surgery” on it tonight to downsize it a bit. :)
