I designed and made this garment for debut at Vogue Knitting Live in L.A. for Knit Culture Studio. Knit Culture will sell the pattern and pattern kit exclusively at their booth/shop during VK Live and for a few weeks after.

The jacket is fitted and shaped with a slimming and interesting placket using 2-color brioche and has a cross/cable design. Using brioche makes the fronts reversible and attractive on both sides, which enables you to wear it in different ways.

I totally had fun knitting this, except for a few personal setbacks which included tendonitis in my hands and painful tennis elbow.

I named it after the location where I stayed for Cat Bordhi’s Visionary Retreat, and where I met fellow visionary author Nancy Marchant, the queen of brioche knitting.
