This is working out quite well.
This is VERY loosely based on this pattern.
I am using other patterns and my experience of having crocheted fancy afghan squares, to work this pattern as a square.
Increasing 2 sts each side of the corner and 4ch for the corners.

I decided it wasn’t going to be big enough and I have increased the size by repeating the larger leaf pattern which is tricky and I have had to totally change the corners at the last couple of rows.
The last 10 rows were similar to the pattern.
Finally finished crocheting this 17th Feb
