Recycled angel

Notes

I made this for the advent challenge here.

My suggestion is that you have a play first with a scrap tinfoil and a pen with no ink.
Lay the foil on a flat soft surface (I used my cardigan on the table lol) and with the point of the pen make impressions or dots. flip the foil and make impressions on the other side, so to get in and out ridges.

I have printed off this angel (see bottom picture) from somewhere years ago for my dd to make…I thought I could change it a bit and make it out of foil.

I made an angel out of scrap paper and once I had it right I then traced around it onto the pie plate foil.

I then cut out the angel shape (ie the dress is a semi circle) and wings separately from an old pie plate.

Using an old pen that had run out of ink, laid foil on a soft surface (fabric on the table) and drew lines on the foil, flipping it over to get a variety of textures.

Angel’s skirt then rolled up and joined with sticky tape, wings attached with sticky tape.

PM me if you want the angel pattern, I would be happy to share it.
