Using my instructions for my other stained glass wingspan. here also using German short row technique.

Modifications (in summary)

• cast on 81sts.
• worked black for first 6 rows and a black edge.
• Worked 9 sectors.
• worked I-cord bind/cast off

The yarn I am using comes as an I-cord and states there are 20m per hank. I have undone the I-cord and using the strand and knit it….works well and is possibly about a light 3 or 4ply yarn. The yarn is 75% wool and 25% polyamide.

I decided that I would work 9 triangles instead of 8.

25-9-2013 I am working on the 9th triangle.

26-9-13 Finished last triangle and worked a 3 extra rows in black along the top of the triangle and at the end of the wrongside row worked kfb in the 2nd last st. Then knitted right across and picked up 5sts from the 5ch worked at the beginning. Worked another row in the black yarn kfb in 2nd last st.
I only had a few cm of the black left after I finished the I-cord edge.

Meterage used: 307m (about) rainbow yarn + 119m black = 426m
