Knit according to pattern for the most part, Altered the part with the ribbing to repeat the Stockinette, I like how it turned out better. After that part, I repeated the elongated twisted stitches once more and then finished with several rows of garter stitch.

I tried the Elongated Twisted Stitch both suggested ways, initially following the directions with the YO’s but that led to a lot of headaches, the last two I did by going up to size 11 needles and while it’s tidier, it isn’t as elongated. But there were considerably less headaches and mistakes so I’ll take it.
