Cast on 120 on US4’s. After ribbing switched to US6’s and increased to 144. Put in short rows from center 36 +3+3. Increased to 144. Increased after first set of diamonds to 180 and after second set of diamonds to 260. That meant 13 cat carts with chart A between each. I gradually added stitches for chart A because the first time I knit the yoke I had tons of puckering. I still have some, but it’ll have to do. Ordered cat charts from middle back: 7, 13, 12, 15, 9, 16, 10, 17, 3, 4, 6, 14, 1. After the charts added diamonds then inverted diamonds. My mother-in-law is very small boned with a solid middle. That means I started with a small/medium and added 40 stitches (to 300 size L) to accommodate her larger trunk before sleeve separation. Knit 12” from underarm and switched to ribbing for 2” on 4’s.

For sleeves, picked up 3 extra stitches on each corner to close the holes. Then I k2tog to further close holes. Eventually, I narrowed to 74 stitches. After 6” (50 rows), I reduced 2 stitches, and continued reducing every 6 rows until sleeves were 14” and I had 48 stitches. Did twisted ribbing on 4’s reducing 4 more stitches on first row of ribbing.
