Alpaca/silk lace and merino with multicolored stellina confetti held together is sumptuous! The confetti has sparky bits and multicolored tweedy slubs- so festive!

As others have said, the yoke required a lot of focus, but Rachel Illsley’s detailed, clear instructions were invaluable! I usually prefer charts, but I used the stitch by stitch written instructions until I got to the sleeve separation. By then, I felt confident enough in my understanding of the pattern to switch to the chart. Hooray for both options.

I decided not to decrease sleeves until I was about 7” down because they fit well as they were (66 stitches- surprising because my arms are thin). Then I decreased 2 sts every 6 rounds until I had 54 stitches for the cuff (16 repeats from the neck).

I wanted a winter white version. The off white Expressions yarn with twinkly tweedy bits provided that little extra. Knowmad’s alpaca silk lace added halo and exquisite softness. Thanks to Royal Bee’s owner, Kelly, for suggesting it!
