Notes

Mostly just using the magnificent charts. Cast on 120 on US 2’s using sport yarn 1x1 ribbing. I committed one of the cardinal sins of color work: I mixed yarns- DK, sport, fingering! My goal was to find all the colors in my stash. I figured since I was going to duplicate stitch anyway, it wouldn’t make all that much difference. My 7 year old grandson will be excited by his favorite characters.

I added stitches in between each figure to total 120 stitches. After 6”, I divided the 120 stitches into 6 parts, placed markers every 20 stitches, and decreased before each marker every other row.

My 33 year old daughter was envious, so I made her one too. I switched out little Mario for Mario on Yoshi because she was obsessed with Yoshi as a little girl. Designed my own chart for that.
