I fell in love with this pattern when I first laid eyes on it. I dreamed of creating the look of a wild flower garden through an old patinaed fence to play homage to The Secret Garden.

Cast on on US4s. Switched to US2’s and then back to 4’s. The yarn colors were so close, I only did one every other row to transition to second base color Texas Tulips rows 10-11. Switched to Rosalinda 2 every other rows 30-33. Back to Texas Tulips rows 61-64 and back to natural 82-83.

Not a huge fan of the Pearl “seam”, so I left it off sleeves and got rid of it for the plain part of the body.

I typically adjust for fit, but I followed pattern stitch counts, and it fit perfectly!

I decided to knit long sleeves. My plain knitting is looser than my stranded work, so after the sleeve chart, I reduced in the middle of every repeat to 66 sts. At 9”, I began ssk and k2tog every 6 rows to 54 sts. At 13 1/2”, switched to smaller needles for cuff. 16” sleeve length total. Turned out bracelet length which I think works with the slightly cropped sweater length.
