4/13/19: Started swatching.
4/16/19: Swatch has been washed and dried. I’ve spent the past few day trying to figure out how to modify the pattern because I didn’t like how loose the fabric was at the required gauge. Planned a course of action that looks like this:

• Knit top lace section as written and on size 9 to get gauge.
• When it’s time to start the stockinette portion, switch to US 8 and increase 12 sts to keep the measurements the same. Follow the rest of the pattern as written.

4/21/19: Bound off the sleeves yesterday and started on the body today. Switched to US 8 needles and increased 12 sts on Row 15 (at every 8 and 9 sts between the border) to keep the same size.
4/28/19: Had a long knitting session on the 27th and knit the rest of the body and started the edging. Finished the edging, bound off, and wove in the ends tonight.
4/30/19: Washed and blocked the sweater on the 29th. Didn’t like how it was drying flat, so I decided to put it in the dryer which turned out to be a great idea. The yarn plumped up, the sweater went back to it’s original size, and it wasn’t a stretched out mess. Then I spent the night sewing on three buttons. So cute!
