Long tail cast on from both ends of cake.
Slipped first and last stitch P/wise on every RS row otherwise pattern as is.
Because yarn thinner than the Bulky Weight only made the loop 6.5 inches not the 10in pattern called for.
Fan was only 3in long and did not add the Purl row at end. (this is just personal preference)
Remember that some yarns stretch enormously when wet.
