This is my first time knitting with a highly variegated yarn with such stark contrasts in the color runs… I’m trying to decide how I feel about this pattern and this yarn together.

I’m wondering if a stockinette stitch would do this hand painted yarn more justice. I’m going to finish this project but I don’t think the garter stitch is completely doing it for me.

Clearly I enjoy yarn chicken!!

Mods, added two more obody repeat rows, + eyelet row. Then knit 6 border rows.

Used up all but one 1.5 yards of this georgeous yarn!

I LOVE yarn with silk. This Orbit is bigger than my first Orbit before its blocked!! This was a great choice of yarn + pattern!! Can’t wait to wear this one!!

I used a the k2tog tbl bind off with size US 8 needle
