10-08-2016 -- Good Decision!!

So glad I decided to go with this pattern. I am already on the mesh section and this is flying. The only slow part was adding the three rows of beads, which really didn’t take much time. It’s going to give the scarf nice weight on the ends. Love this pattern!

Shoot. I was cranking along and some how got twisted up on my ssk and ended up missing two stitches somewhere, had to rip back and correct in order to get back to 33 sts. I made negative progress so far. I might have to send my sister a knitting IOU, not sure if I can get this finished in time to send to her for her birthday especially because I’ve been too busy at work to knit during lunch. Oh well. I love this knit though!! I just have to be careful when I’m doing ssk’s. I wish I would have chosen this pattern in the first place, I would have finished early.

So I got to the other end, and bound off. My ends don’t match, I was way too loose with my gauge. I have to rip out the entire garter section, including 117 beads and knit it over again, with a nice firm tension to match the first end of the scarf.

I’m late with my delivery, but I would rather deliver quality.
